iPad + Zoom + video sound

Hi. This is regarding zoom and iPads. I am using MacBook Air and I've been sharing videos through zoom with my students since August of last year with no problems. Just this week, students using iPad cannot hear the sound of the videos I am sharing, while those using laptops had no problem. But those on the iPad can clearly hear my voice. The same video was shared by different people using their own MacBook, and those with iPads can now hear the sound of the video. Is there a setting on my MacBook that I need to change?


Mac version: Catalina 10.15.7

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! We understand that you need help with Zoom calls on iPads. We are happy to help out. This may be settings related. We recommend trying these steps:


-On the iPads, go to Settings

-Privacy and select Camera

-Make sure the switch next to Zoom is turned on


If this does not help resolve the issue, you'd want to reach out to Zoom support for possible additional steps.
