I’ve been getting pop-ups on my phone

So recently I’ve been getting pop-ups on my phone, particularly when I’m using Facebook whenever I click on a link from a liked page, and it’ll say it’s an alert from Apple security and it usually says something along the lines of, “3 Viruses detected on phone and may affect battery life download this malware protection now” and it has like a countdown timer of like 1 minute and 50 seconds. I’ll usually just exit out of it, and I never download the suggested malware because I’m not dumb, but I’m worried there’s something about the security of my phone and any data in my phone that has been compromised, mainly because this is like the fourth or fifth time that I’ve had this pop up for me. Is there something I can do to help protect my phone and all it’s data?

seeing popups while navigating on the internet does not indicate your phone/data is at risk.

They must be phishing and looking for someone to scam. Less than reputable website(s)?
