How can I send a Word doc airdropped from my Mac to my Iphone as a text message, not a Word doc.

It sounds as though you want to send a Word document from your Mac to your iPhone as a SMS text message, and not as a word document. There isn't a way to send a document via AirDrop as an SMS text message to your iPhone. You could attempt to send a word document to your self using Messages. To do so you can drag and drop the document into text field of the message, and put your number or Apple ID as the contact you're sending a message too. Do keep in mind the document will send as an attachment much like a photo would. If you only want the text to send as an iMessage you would want to copy and paste the text into the message.
