MackBook Air(2019) and 2 external monitors via one thunderbolt connection

Hi all,

I've tried to connect my laptop (MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2019)) via one thunderbolt connection to external monitor Dell U2419HC and this display connected via display port to Dell U2417H.

So final schema is:

Laptop <-thunderbolt-> U2419HC DP out -> DP in U2417H (see attached photo).

But the problem that this schema recognized as one monitor (mirrored physically). Please check attached photo and screenshot.

Please give an advise, is it possible to use a schema like this?

If so how can I resolve the issue?

P.S. it's works well at windows

Best regards,

Follow the steps in this great resource:
