Can you have more than 4 rows of header in numbers ?

Hi Guys,

I need HELP!

I am doing quotatio for my client. I have my company’s logo, contacts, quotation serial numbers and project details on the top of the page.  My quotation is about 5 pages long, when I print, I would like the company logo, contact and project details to appear on every page, its like page 1of 5, 2 of 5, 3 of 5, 4 of 5 and 5 of 5.

I understand currently Numbers has a fixed header of up to 4 rows, is there any way to extend it to more than 4 rows, as my current contents is taking up more than that.

Thank You

Jo

Hi Jo,

A Numbers Table may have up to 5 header rows, as seen here in the Table menu:

There is a setting in Print Setup to Repeat table headers (on each page) when a table flows across more than one page.

There is also a set of three Page header boxes, available (and displayed) only in Print Setup and on printed copies of the document). I was able to enter a string of 10 returns in one of the boxes, which would suggest there's not a "four row limit" here either. Page headers are not fully suitable to your needs, though, as they accept only text (and inserted page numbers, generated automatically).

Screen images from Numbers 3.6, Your menus may vary.

Regards,

Barry
