If iTunes is apparently installed correctly try the following in turn until iTunes opens/closes/reopens/connects to the store normally:

How do I fix the problem as I cannot use iTunes
The software does NOT load properly (typically takes 3minutes to load) and it FREEZES when I try to click or select anything

Although using version 12 your list seems to be pointing towards a much earlier version than I have installed > 12.11.0.26
So it would seem to me that these later versions, from the Microsoft store, should actually load quickly and be working correctly It doesn't of course or I wouldn't be here !!!
I shall have to try another version from the iTunes installers list although i have no idea of the version number of the last version that wo0rked correctly as i am interested in music not really the means by which it is played
Right about now someone rocking up with a great, stable, player would get my vote over anything provided by Apple and certainly bloody Microsoft
Thank you, I have now tried that and report as follows: > a) iTunes still takes over four minutes to load; b) Tunes load in the top area, but do not actually play; c) When I click on 'Preferences' the system does not freeze now, but the preferences box takes two minutes twenty seconds to load
It seems to me as though the whole thing is 'loading' the system in some way that has not happened previously
It is very annoying, I assume i shall have to step back further in terms of versions until i get one to actually work !!
The computer BTW is a Dell XPS running Win-10 with an i7 CPU 940@ 2.93Ghz 8.00GB 64-bit OS - x64 bit-based processor
I would try 12.10.10.2 to start with. Links at the very bottom of the troubleshooting tip.
