Apple Pencil and Logitech Slim Folio Pro

When I use both the Logitech Slim Folio Pro and Apple Pencil 2nd gen with 2018 iPad Pro 11-inch, the apple pencil disconnects after a while when iPad is asleep. If the keyboard is not connected, the pencil works fine. Does anyone have a clue how to solve this?

Hello  _indlvorg_,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

If we understand your post correctly, when using the Slim Folio Pro with the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen with your iPad Pro, the pencil will disconnect after awhile when the iPad goes to sleep. We're happy to help!

Make sure that the tip of the pencil is screwed on all the way. This could cause the pencil to disconnect as you described.

Try unpairing the Apple Pencil and then repairing it.

Thanks for the reply. Just to be more informative, I will describe all the troubleshooting I have already done after talking to apple support:

Screwed the pencil tip tightly.

Made sure that pencil firmware is up-to-date.

Installed a fresh copy of iPadOS using iTunes and recovery mode.

Tried resetting network settings.

Charged the iPad to more than 80% and left the pencil attached to magnetic strip for 45 mins. The purpose of this step, according to Apple, is to update the pencil firmware.

Had Apple support run diagnostics on the iPad.

Nothing has worked so far. The pencil remains connected as long as it is attached to the magnetic strip. Once it is removed, it immediately disconnects.
