How do you mute and unmute the mic on the Beats Flex on a phone call?

There is no seperate play/pause button on the Beats Flex. There is only a multifunction button, a volume control rocker button, and on/off/connect button. If you push the multifunction button (which is the play/pause control for music) while on a phone call, it disconnects. Any other suggestions? Or is there no way to mute and unmute on the headset?
