How to force Beats Pro to honour last setting and stop answering calls?

Hi There, I have a mind-numbing issue where calls are always answered using Beats Pro - no matter what iPhone is set to use.

For example, say I've previously listened to a video on iPad but have stopped watching...

  • Beats Pro is connected to both iPad and iPhone and Beats are sitting on the desk
  • But only iPad is set to output to Beats Pro, iPhone is not
  • A call comes in, Beats Pro auto-connects to iPhone and answers the call

QUESTION

How do I force Beats Pro to honour the last connected device and switch ONLY if I manually set output to use Beats Pro? i.e. How do I stop the constant auto-switching?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Had the wrong name (Beats Pro) have Powerbeats instead.

Here's how to fix...

  • First connect Powerbeats to iPhone (or this won't work)
  • On iPhone, go Settings > Bluetooth > Powerbeats and tap the blue i (inside the circle) icon
  • Tap the second option 'Connect to This iPhone...'
  • If Powerbeats isn't connected, you won't see this option so ensure Powerbeats is connected
  • Change from 'Automatically' to 'When Last Connected to This iPhone'
  • Tap back and exit settings

Now Powerbeats will ONLY answer calls when you explicitly tell iPhone to use Powerbeats.

Hope that helps someone!
