After upgrading to Mac OS Big Sur all oblique styled fonts no longer work in any of my applications.
Has anyone here noticed that and are you aware of any fixes for this issue?

Works in Pages for me.
And two oblique fonts used in the non-subscription Affinity Publisher 1.8.6:
Please provide the names of specific fonts not working in the Pages app, for example
Avenir is one of them.
Hmmm... Yes, it does! Maybe it's only a problem in Adobe's apps?
I don't know. The only Adobe app I have installed is PSE 2021. I can check in a few.

Adobe InDesign, both 2020 & 2021 version
What did you mean by "broken"? You could always contact Adobe support.
So far Adobe says it's an Apple issue & Apple says it's an Adobe issue.
The workaround for Adobe is putting a copy of the fonts in InDesign's Fonts folder.
Or some humor in replacing InDesign with Affinity Publisher for $50 and being able to import InDesign content into Publisher. Ends the Adobe finger-pointing issue… 😎
Indeed. That and the fact they show up in Adobe Photoshop Elements.
