Allowing Autoplay in Safari

From Ontario. Our Library system is aligned with Hoopla to allow streaming of videos, etc. I’m all set up to and get this message.

CAUSE: Apple disabled autoplay for audio and video blocking in the release of Safari 11.

FIX: While on the hoopla digital web page in Safari 11.0 perform the following steps:

• Click on the "Safari" menu item in the upper left corner.

• Click on "Settings for This Website..."

• In the middle of the pop up window, there is an Auto-Play option that is set to "Never Auto-Play" by default. Change that to "Allow All Auto-Play".

• Sometimes you may have to close out of Safari completely and re-open it before the player controls work for hoopla, but not always.

I have access to Safari thru Tools but it doesn’t have Autoplay option.

On my IPad I don’t have Safari icon in the upper left corner. I don’t have any icons in upper left corner.

How can I enable Autoplay?.. thx
