How can we help if we cannot see a screenshot or link to what you are attempting to copy/paste from Safari into Pages? As Pages has no inherent HTML capability, it deals with the RTF content that Safari puts on the clipboard. TextEdit is better at this because it does understand HTML content, and then you copy from TextEdit into Pages.

Hard to tell whether that is a pure HTML table or one of two different CSS3 styling exercises that simulate the table. Pages won't be happy with any of them.
