Automatic turn on/off feature from new macbook

I am a person who love turn shut down on/off, I am not sure when the lid opened/closed its really shut down.

Anyone have any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

MacBook Air M2 2023 startup and shutdown If we are unable to STOP a MacBook Air 2023, my laptop, from starting up when I open the lid. Does it go into hibernation mode when I close the lid? AND if I shutdown does it actually power-off ???

macbook air will switch on when lid opens Does the macbook air 13 inch (2019) will automatically switch on when i open the lid? I am curious because the first week i bought it, it will not switch on automatically. But then after 2 weeks i'm using it, whenever i open the lid, it will switch on automatically. Thank you.

Log out, sleep, wake, restart or shut down your Mac - Apple ...
