Two Factor ID disable

I never setup two factor identifcation ... I don't know how it came on... I don't want it... how do I get rid of it... I don't always have the other device handy, nor want to be bothered with it to log in somewhere else ... Apple is getting crazy with forcing customers into things they don't want ... I wish I never got Apple products now because I don't want to be locked into something I didn't choose to be locked into and can't change ... my next upgrades will not be anymore Apple products for sure.... meanwhile, do I have to set up a whole new Apple ID account and transfer my everything there, so I can set up the Security ID the way I want it as a customer ... and choose not to have two-factor id if I don't want to be bothered or get annoyed with it?

"Can I turn off two-factor authentication after I’ve turned it on? If you already use two-factor authentication, you can no longer turn it off. Certain features in the latest versions of iOS and macOS require this extra level of security, which is designed to protect your information. If you recently updated your account, you can unenroll within two weeks of enrollment. Just open your enrollment confirmation email and click the link to return to your previous security settings. Keep in mind, this makes your account less secure and means that you can't use features that require higher security." Updated December 08, 2020
