my HomePod mini does not play AppleTv sound

My AppleTV won't play what's on Apple TV! In the setup of Apple TV HomePod doesn't show up.

Homepod Mini won’t play  TV but Home app sees it and shows it’s playing - and will stop/start by tapping it on Home. The HPMini plays music - but not what’s on TV. Thank you, Tom
