My menubar is burgundy, and I'd like it to be light blue. I keep searching for how to change its color, but all I get is answers about changing its transparency. How do I make my burgundy menu bar blue?

Turns out someone has written an app called "Boring Old Menu Bar" for Big Sur. There is a free 14 day trial. I haven't tried it.
The menu bar color is based on the desktop background image. You would have to find an appropriate image.

I've looked at that. It does some nice stuff, but changing menu bar color doesn't seem to be one of the features. Still, you're right. I should at least give it a go.

"If all you want is to revert to what you had before the update, you can opt for the Catalina-style menu bar, either the dark or light variants. If you want something different, there are white, black, and gray alternatives, or you can just pick a custom color."
No idea if it's true or not.
