Hi
I have a 4th gen appletv connected by hdmi to my projector, but my projector has no speaker.
Can I use the other connection port on the back of the appletv to run out to a speaker to get sound....
(I tried by Bluetooth, but appletv wants to only search for a TV & not a standalone speaker. Furthermore I'd prefer to hardwire speaker and not Bluetooth it)

HDMI can be daisy-chained for equipment that supports passthrough.
Apple TV →[HDMI]→ AV receiver with wired speakers →[HDMI]→ screen
or
Apple TV →[HDMI]→ HDMI Audio Extractor →[HDMI]→ screen

There is no Lightning port on the back of the Apple TV box. Some models have a USB port, but that is not to be used to speaker devices or other peripherals. That port is only for “service and support”, i.e. for re-installing the system software through a connected computer.
make sure the bluetooth speaker is in pairing more
