Amazon Prime app on my Apple TV freezes on an irregular basis. Why?

My Amazon Prime app on my Apple TV periodically freezes on the Amazon prime logo. Pressing menu on my remote doesn’t work for a while to get out of the freeze and once it does it works fine for every other app other than Amazon Prime. The only thing that works is for me to delete the Amazon Prime App and re-install it. Once that is done the Amazon Prime app works fine for a period of time - could be days or weeks, but inevitably it will freeze again and I will have to go through the whole delete app and re-install to get it working. Why is this happening (only on this app) and why isn’t it being fixed? This question has been raised before.

It sounds like the Amazon Prime app on your Apple TV doesn't respond. We'll be glad to assist you with getting this figured out.
