iPhone7+ sound not working since last update.

After I updated my phone, the sounds for music and videos no longer work.

All the sounds for incoming calls, notices, reminder,,,, and so on still work.

I have searched the settings over and over and restarted the phone several times.

Nothing seems to fix the problem. I'm a knowledgeable user and this has me stumped.

I anyone else having the same problem?

Hey there, random47.

We understand that you're unable to hear some sound (music and videos) from your iPhone 7 Plus after an update. Is this happening with music and videos from multiple apps? Can you hear the sound for music and videos when using wired or Bluetooth headphones (if available)? This could help us determine what might be going on and possible next steps for you to take.

You could see if the first three steps in this article helps with your iPhone 7 Plus: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker

Take care!

random47,

Got it. To clarify, you're unable to hear music or videos from multiple apps, correct? We also want to see if the issue is happening when you try to listen to music or videos with headphones, if available to you, as that can help isolate what might be going on.

Please also let us know if the steps in that article helped. It may say no sounds, but the steps inside the article can possibly be helpful.

Best wishes.
