iPod Classic Movies
Hello I punched a HD version of a movie off of iTunes and I want to be able to watch it on my 7th generation Ipod classic is there a way to make a version that will play on my classic? For good reference I own a MacBook.

Yes there is. :)
In Edit -> Preferences -> Downloads, uncheck the Download High Quality SD Videos option. That option downloads High Profile MP4 files when checked, which the Classic line can't play. But if you uncheck them, the ones it downloads will play. Also movie rentals work with the device.
Now, whenever you buy a movie in iTunes, ALWAYS buy the HD version. Basically, you will get the 4K version on the Apple TV, 1080p version in iTunes (or 720p), but you also get the SD version... even though they're not direct about it.
To download the movie, go into the Store and look on the right. You'll see Purchases link near the top but just below that. Click that and it will take you into your purchases. The screen should turn with the white background. Now there, in the bottom right, you'll see a checkbox that says "Download in HD". UNCHECK THIS. Then from here, select the videos you bought that you want to download. Then they will download in Baseline Profile H264 which your iPod Classic can play.
I've done this many, many times... very rarely is there a problem... I think only one music video I downloaded would never download in baseline profile... but that was it. Fortunately, music videos are DRM free and can be re-encoded using a video converter. DRM movies cannot, but using this, you can still buy and download SD videos :)

No. Judging from other recent threads even the SD version of that movie is likely to have too high a bitrate to work on a classic.

And trust me on this.... I've been using a Classic for a bit after upgrading it to 2TB.... you can buy music, music videos, TV shows, AND movies... but videos must download this way or else you end up with HD video which you can't play.
