Facetime eye distortion

Does anyone else get a kind of eye distortion when using facetime? i have 12 pro and am on 14.4 right now. the phone distorts my eye and it’s pretty weird.

I turned on portrait and turned off the function where the camera moves with me. This helped some. I use Zoom often for work and it is important that I have as near to direct eye contact as possible in my virtual meetings with individuals (while still being able to see their faces in the center of my screen). My iphone and laptop do not have this problem, nor do I recall it being an issue on my old ipad mini.

IpadPro FaceTime camera Hello! When i am on virtual calls on my IPad Pro, I can’t seem to make eye contact. When I look at the other person directly they say I am looking sideways. Whereis the front camera, and does anyone know how to fix this?

FaceTime photo appears upside down??? Usually, FaceTime works just fine, but recently the (one) person I’m FaceTiming sees me upside down? I’d appreciate any suggestions of a reason or (hopefully) a fix for this? We’re both using iPad Air 2 and software is current.
