Can I / How to Delete Catalina Install File

Recently the internal hard drive on my iMac was going bad so I am now running OS Catalina and apps from an external SSD. I just noticed that the SSD is getting full, and in looking for what I can delete I see the file "Install macOS Catalina", which is 8.26 GB in size. Can I actually delete this file without messing anything up? Again, I am running OS Catalina from this same drive to operate my iMac. Thank you.

Yes, you can delete it. Just drag it to the Trash and empty it.
