cannot find eject button on macbook pro

I am using Seagate backup plus for mac portable drive on Macbook pro. After finishing backup I cannot find the eject function

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.1

Escape /eject in some instances upper far left.


Some it is on the Touch bar, some is dedicated key.

How to use the Escape button on the Touch Bar on your ...


For external disk See Finder side bar

Finder>Preferences>Sidebar>Locations





Alternatively if you have issue remounting /force eject issue...


From the Terminal, copy and paste:

diskutil umount 


note the trailing blank space...

to complete the path, drag&drop your external disk to the Terminal window.


ex.

diskutil umount /Volumes/Install\ macOS\ Big\ Sur
