Apple Home displays only celsius

Hi all.

I installed a Honeywell Lyric 5 smart thermostat several years ago. It has been one of the more stable Homekit devices. Up until a month ago, both the thermostat and Apple's Home app displayed the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. Now, the thermostat is in F, but the Home app is in C. I have tried the settings in the Home app, reinstalled the device, twiddled the settings on the thermostat itself, all to no avail. The same problem occurs running Home on my iPhone 8, iPad 6 and a brand-new Mac Mini. All devices have up-to-date software installed.

Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

To start, we'd recommend that you check to see if the temperature unit setting for your iPhone is set up correctly. This can be done by going into Settings > Language & Region > Temperature Unit: Set the language and region on iPhone - Apple Support
