How do I connect Apple TV to Xfinity internet

You connect the Apple TV box to a home network, either by Wi-Fi or by wired ethernet.

Then it connects to your home router. The Xfinity router is often referred to as the ‘Wireless Gateway’.

When the ethernet port on the Apple TV is empty, then the Wi-Fi options become available.
