I have an old iPad which is stuck at Activation(from iTunes).
I cant contact previous owner any more, I know the Pass-code to unlock the screen but not the activation lock credentials. How can I erase this iPad. However, I have some pics and videos in the iPad I want to keep if possible too.

As you will discover, unless you are the owner of the AppleID that was last used to activate the device, or unless you can secure the cooperation of the previous owner, you’ll not be able to defeat or bypass the Activation Lock. Without documentary evidence that you are the original owner (such as sales receipt showing the serial number), Apple won’t assist - and nobody here will be able to help you.

Ok, I manage to find the receipt of purchase for this iPad from 2012.. What Apple contacts (email or phone number) can I contact now to disable the Activation Lock now as there is no way to find the Activation credentials..?
Unless the Apple ID involved is yours, you can't. The activation lock is an anti-theft measure.

Ok, then its not solving the issue here for a genuine owner. Why cant another Apple-id erase it ? The device can be traced if reported stolen that way ..
