my messages are not syncing with my Mac since I purchased a iPhone 12. How can I resolve this issue?

See this information to check your settings. Use Continuity to connect your Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch - Apple Support. Make sure on the iPhone, you check Settings>Messages>Text Message Forwarding, and make sure the Mac is listed there. The devices need to be logged into the same Apple ID as well.
