i have a old MacBook hear is a picture of one. it does work but i think it does not have working Ram and the MagSafe charger does not work.

After a short use, I reinstalled on macOS Monterey 12.6.2. And anyway, when you work on 4-5 windows at once, the laptop gets very hot, the fans are constantly noisy (((. and I don't want to work. Clean install of Ventura 13.1 freezes at Language selection screen I have created a bootable external drive with Ventura 13.1 for M1 Silicon devices. It successfully installs just fine on MacBook Air (M1,2020), Mac Mini (M1,2020). However when installing on a MacBook Pro - at the language selection screen, as soon as I select a language it freezes for ~20 minutes - the cursor will respond in jerky fashion the whole time but won’t accept input - occasionally showing the beach ball. However, after 20 (approx) minutes, it will drop the language selection screen and show an all grey background (plus jerky cursor) for another 10 minutes, before it finally moves to the next screen and then suddenly installation continues normally.

macOS Ventura flickering screen I updated my Macbook Air M1 to Ventura on Monday 24 Oct. Within a few hours my screen started to flicker. I rebuild the machine using a USB drive (Create a bootable installer for macOS - Apple Support) After a few hours it started again. I notice this happens when I am using IntelliJ Idea Ultimate. Has anyone else encounter this issue? Perhaps when doing something that will use up a lot resources? I don't mind going back to Monterey I just hate the long process of rebuilding/setting up a machine.

If it works, by definition it was functional RAM. It would not start up if it the RAM was not working.

What do you mean the Magsafe charger does not work? Is the MacBook working off battery power?

You'll need to explain exactly what issues you are having in detail if you want help.
