You are not directly addressing anyone here from Apple.
If Apple'e trade-in partner finds any defects in your iPad, the trade-in value will decreasea appropriately.
If the defect directly impacts the proper functioning of the device or is detrimental enough, then the device may have little to no trade-in value.
