The calendar virus

My iPhone 12 calendar shows a reminder that says “your iPhone is not protected click to protect” There’s like 9 reminders set under subscriptions in the calendar and i don’t want to open it. I can’t delete any of them out of calendar all it will let me do is turn off the notifications. I don’t have a Mac or a desktop so I can’t access calendar in iCloud. I can only solve it through my iphone. I tried going to settings, and passwords&accounts but i couldn’t find passwords&accounts. Please help. Its so irritating.

That is a Rogue Calendar account.

If you are using iOS 13 then Go to Settings Passwords & Accounts and under Accounts see if an unknown calendar account is listed. If it is then tap on it and then Delete account.

If you are using iOS 14 the Go to Settings Calendar Accounts and under Accounts see if an unknown calendar account is listed. If it is then tap on it and then Delete account.

Note that it is not a virus. It is something that got added to your calendar because you may have accepted an offer from a pop-up on a website unknowingly. Please be careful out there.
