facetime frame rate

my iphone 6s has had no issues with facetime up until a day or two ago, now it looks to be going at less that 20 fps, and it’s delayed, not all the time but sometimes, out of no where this happens and the only way for me to make it stop is to reset my phone. why does it keep doing this?

iPhone 6s, iOS 14

Please check the internet speed.

Connecting to Wifi is the first part and then getting connected to the Internet is the second

If you connect to a Wifi, doesn't necessarily mean you are connected to the internet. If you are not connected to wifi could be a problem of iPhone settings or Router/Modem Settings
If you are not connected to the internet is the sole issue of Router / Modem Settings. Contact your ISP immediately
