Can't hear calls in iPhone 7

I have an iPhone7. The problem is I can’t hear what others are saying to me and they can’t hear what I am saying to them.

Hi Remeshsanjaya,

We see you're having some audio-related issues on calls. We can certainly understand the need to have both parties be able to hear each other. We'd like to help out.

Is this only happening on calls, or do you have issues with the microphone elsewhere? To test that out, try recording a voice memo using the included Voice Memos app. Play it back and just listen to note if you can hear yourself clearly or not.

For microphone issues, check out this page: If the microphones on your iPhone aren't working

Also, check to see if you have VoLTE enabled: Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options. Next to Enable LTE, if it says "Voice & Data", then VoLTE is turned on. If VoLTE is turned on, turn it off for the moment, then test to see if the sound issues still happen.

We'll also want to test things using different things, such as trying this out with headphones that have a microphone, such as EarPods/AirPods. That'll help to get this isolated down.

Take care!
