Can anyone assist with getting new charger chord to connect iPad to MacBook Pro?
Issue is resolved, iPad need to trust the computer. It's been a while since I last synched iPad to new computer. Thanks for your response!
You need to use a USB-C port on your Mac.
If you don't have one use the older charger and cable.

Why is it looking for a file?
It should show in the Sidebar of a Finder window.
