I am trying to use Touch ID on Mac book but I can’t ?

Have you followed the directions on https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/touch-id-mchl16fbf90a/mac

to configure it? If you have and it still doesn't recognize your finger print, make sure you aren't using gloves. If the machine is under warranty, you may be able to ask AppleCare to see if the finger print reader is broken down.
