Apple ID reset without trusted phone number

My daughter has her Apple ID attached to an old phone number from the UK that she no longer has since returning to Canada. How can she reset the password as the 2 factor authentication goes to that phone and number which she no longer has?

Changing 2-factor Authorization Without Trusted Number or Device My father has forgotten his old trusted phone number and does not have the phone. How can he sign in to change/turn off 2 step verification (which requires the phone number)? I've tried iforgot and Apple ID, but each method requires knowing the old phone number (nobody wrote it down). Someone changed my father’s Apple ID password and phone number Someone changed my father’s Apple ID password and phone number which was linked for 2 factor verification. Now he isn’t able to access his Apple ID and the phone number that is now linked is of someone we don’t know and therefore we aren’t able to change or reset the password also via 2 factor authentication. I also can’t go to the Apple store now because there is lockdown in India. I hope for some reliable solutions.

For the Apple ID password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get an email option if necessary.
