Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Someone changed my father’s Apple ID password and phone number which was linked for 2 factor verification. Now he isn’t able to access his Apple ID and the phone number that is now linked is of someone we don’t know and therefore we aren’t able to change or reset the password also via 2 factor authentication. I also can’t go to the Apple store now because there is lockdown in India. I hope for some reliable solutions.
To do that the person would had to have had access to your father's telephone and other login information. Your father needs to evaluate his security.
