Problem with buttons

when I press any of the side buttons, they are pressed with a delay, it does not always appear, after a reboot sometimes it works as it should, and sometimes it does not help

I know that you stated that a reboot works at times however I would like you to remove the case and try pressing the buttons (if you use a case). This way if the case is a problem then you will know.

If the above is a non-issue then Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
