Apple Watch Steps walked in a month

Apple watch tells me the steps I've walked on any particular day of the year and the average steps I've walked. But I need the total number of steps I walk each month. Does the watch give a total for the month, or do I have to add 30-31 daily totals myself?

You can do that or downlown a 3rd party app like this one;
