Hello, EMD-RDH.

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you’re curious about managing some of the content that you can share using Family Sharing, and we’re happy to answer your questions.

When you set up Family Sharing, you can chose what you share and don’t share. Follow the guidance outlined here to set it up: Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support

After Family Sharing is set up, and your family members have all accepted their invitations, this page will help you get started with sharing your Apple TV+ subscription: Set up Family Sharing in the Apple TV app - Apple Support

You asked about inviting someone with a different Apple ID / iCloud account to share your Apple TV+ subscription. If you mean the person that you want share with uses a different Apple ID for iCloud than they do for Media & Purchases, they will either need to be signed into the same account in both places to take advantage of the subscription, or you will need to add both of their Apple ID accounts to your Family Sharing group. This article explains: If you don't see your family's shared content - Apple Support

Finally, this article addresses how to share (or not share) your iCloud storage plan with your Family Sharing group: Share an iCloud storage plan with your family - Apple Support

Warmest Regards.
