This feature is urgently needed when exporting or printing emails. For years, users have been requesting this feature. Has Apple come up with any update in 2021?
Mail Settings should give the option to "enable/disable attachment preview".
The option to "disable attachment preview" should also be given in context, when hovering the list of attachments in a single incoming email.

Disable Mail attachment preview - any update from Apple in 2021?
