AMP Artwork Agent is using ALL my CPU juice and I can't stop it!

Please can an engineer FIX the problem with Artwork Agent in Music... constantly running and can't be stopped in Settings before you tell me to uncheck that box. It's a bug and it needs to be fixed by Apple Engineers. Please sort it out - so I can listen to music and work at the same time.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that Artwork Agent is using a high CPU percentage on your Mac.


When you tried to stop it previously, did you do that from Activity Monitor (Finder > Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor)? If so, was there an error message or any response at all?


Try starting your Mac in safe mode and see if the same happens there. How to use safe mode on your Mac can walk you through accessing safe mode and using the results to proceed.
