Orange Dot by power icon.

How do you turn off that orange dot that appears on the left side of the power icon? I searched about this issue and I know it’s states that a mic or camera is being used in an app, which is creepy, so how do you turn it off ????...never did this until I updated😯

The green dot hasn’t changed for when a app is using the camera on your iPhone, but now it seems to be a yellow square that pops up when a app is using your microphone. Small red dot in OS Monterey Menu Bar Hey all, anyone know what is the small red dot in OS Monterey Menu Bar. I found another question on this topic (since closed) but it is not addressing the question. I'm wondering if its equivalent to the red dot or green dot in iOS that signify recent use by an App of the device's Camera and Mic respectively, but hovering over or clicking on the dot doesn't give any clue. Although its not showing right now, the image below indicates approximately where it shows up; seems like a kind of random position, def doesn't feel Apple-ish - kinda shoehorned in between other icons.

What is the green circle in lower right corner of screen and how do I turn it off? Why do I have a green dot in the LOWER RIGHT hand corner of my iPhone screen. It is NOT the green/orange icons at the top that are new for camera/mic being on. It is larger, in the lower right hand corner. It showed up after the 14.2 upgrade. I have an iphone 11. Something has also been draining my battery since the 14.1 upgrade. Is this related?
