I have the siri settings EXACTLY the same on all devices: English (US), American Female.
The MacbookPro's sounds smoother, more natural with inflections, etc. - same on my iPhone 12.
My iMacPro 1,1 OS 11.2 - sounds more synthesized and without natural inflections. I've tried changing to other voices, then back. No difference.
Any other ideas?

So...I just solved it, in a weird way. On the iMacPro under Accessibility, I turned on "VoiceOver" then turned it back off. Then went back to Siri settings and switched from American Female to Male, back to Female - and the system seemed to load the updated voice.
