2020 MacBook Pro (M1) Magic keyboard issues (lag)

Hi,

I have tried 2 different types of bluetooth keyboards, both having the same issue. Issue being an unusable time lag between pressing the keys and response. It is unusable. I thought it might have been the older keyboard so ordered a new one, just connected and its the same.

Any thoughts?

Mac mini M1 keyboard lagging I just bought a mac mini M1. Found that the keyboard frequently lagging, sometimes unresponsive up to a few seconds. Same problem even if I use a wired keyboard connected directly to USB C port. I have read related post on same topic in this forum 2021 but cannot find a solution. Is there any setting or driver that I might be missing?

Bad Magic Keyboard Keystroke Lag When connected via Bluetooth to my 2019 Intel MBP, the lag is atrocious and practically impossible to use, but no lag with lighting to the USB-C cable connected to the laptop. Any solutions or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

typing lag on mac pro out of nowhere my mac's keyboard began to lag. it happens every now and again, and after a few seconds a couple of the buttons i clicked while it was lagging will register. to clarify it is the built in keyboard because everything online was talking about bluetooth or wired ones. any similar issues or tips?
