Getting Apple.smtp.mail.uahoo.com connection to outgoing server failed..this has been going on several weeks now..I can’t reply to email, attach photos or send emails

For several weeks , I have gotten an error message......connection to outgoing server. Apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com failed....I can’t reply to emails, attach photos, or in a lot of cases even send emails..I was able to do all of this on the past..it’s just been for a couple of months. HELP, PLEASE.. I’m not very tech savvy.

Given your description, if your SMTP server-name is as typed here, it is not surprising that you have issues with sending email.

You will likely find that the correct server-name is more likely to be smtp.mail.yahoo.com.
