The question is though is it a GPU issue or a Display issue, or possibly a hard drive or software issue.
It appears you have a 15" model. If it has a GPU issue then you can try forcing the laptop to use the Intel GPU instead by using the information in this article:

Keep in mind that a PRAM Reset will remove the change.
Sometimes people can boot into Safe Mode even with a GPU issue. Plus if you get into Safe Mode we can check for possible software issues and the health of the hard drive. If you can boot into Safe Mode, then run EtreCheck and DriveDx. Post both reports here using the "Additional Text" icon which looks like a piece of paper.
Connect an external display along with an external mouse & keyboard. Immediately after powering on the laptop close the lid of the laptop to force it into Clamshell mode to see if you get video on the external display. If the external display works without any issues, then you know the laptop's built-in Display Assembly is bad or it has a loose video cable.
Try running the Apple Diagnostics.
