Unknown recently used camera and microphone

My iPhone has the latest software update, 14.4. My phone is telling me that my camera and my microphone have recently been used by “unknown”. However, I did not have any apps open at the time & I had just woken up after sleeping at least 2 hours. Therefore, I had not using my phone at all for anything to be recently used. I do not have any device profiles installed. Under safari I have access denied to location, microphone and camera. I always keep my background activity & Siri turned off for all apps. Also, I was home alone & I do not use Snapchat or Instagram (seems like all other forms related to this issue just right it off to these two applications).

can anyone help me with this? How do i find out what is using my camera and microphone? Why does it say “unknown”? There must be a reason iPhone developers would create that category. I would assume if it was any app i have installed it would just tell me the name of that app.

i definitely don’t feel like my data & privacy is secure right now.
