USB keyboard works on my MacBook Pro but stopped working on my wife's MacBook Pro

Is the keyboard defective or is my wife's computer the problem or is there a on/off command that is involved?

Hi,

Try to run Apple Diagnostics if it reports something USB related error(NDD001).
