Print jobs disappear from print queue

I am running OS Big Sur and recently, I am unable to print either wirelessly or via USB. I send the jobs to the print queue but then they disappear without printing. I have tried the steps at https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mh14002/mac

and have reset the printer system and added/deleted the printer multiple times but am still having no luck.
