Should I be purchasing internet security, such as Norton, for use on my iPhone

None are ever needed.

I use Gmail and get one or two a month.
Apple will never recommend A/V software.
Thank you. It’s just that I’ve had tons of scam emails, including ones saying that Apple is recommending we download Norton to our iPhones so I thought I’d better check. Really fed up with these scam emails.
